Make the best of a coworking place with the use of Live Edge Wood
Make the best of a coworking place with the use of Live Edge Wood

Opening a coworking space in the last years has proved to be the winning move for many young entrepreneurs who have invested some savings.

That of shared space, in fact, is a real trend. But once the venue has been purchased, or possibly rented, how can all the spaces be organized in order to have an ideal location without spending a fortune?

Shared space does not mean lack of privacy

Coworking is by definition a shared workspace, but this should not be misleading. Working in a single environment does not mean having to lose your privacy or exclude the possibility of concentrating.

So take a good look at the space you have available and design it to be a totally open space, perhaps with some large live edge table in the center and completely shared spaces, in this environment you can host an entire work team that can operate in so called “divided spaces”.

To do this, you will need nothing more than dividing panels that can create small reserved areas in an open space. Nothing is better than the warmth of wood to create such panels.

Imagine the needs of your potential customers

Once you have divided the spaces you will have to start thinking about what can be used by those who come to work in your coworking. First of all, who do you turn to, entire companies that may need to have an external team for certain projects, or individual freelancers who therefore need a single space, or even start-ups with small and medium-sized work teams?

Imagine the needs of your potential customers

In short, after the necessary reasoning, start designing the Living Room Furniture which will be the area where coworkers will hang out to socialize, then think of the furniture of your rooms according to the customers you have to receive.

For example, a live edge table will definitely give the room a sense of modern yet rustic feeling that will contribute to make coworkers’ everyday work life a pleasure. Also an IWB, or one or more monitors may be required for a work team.

What’s needed in the private rooms or workstations

For a freelance worker, on the other hand, it may be more useful, in a single workstation, to have a PC, or in any case the space necessary to bring their own and obviously a fast wi-fi connection.

Then think of a relaxation space where you can meet and exchange ideas. Once again, you could include a rough wood plank single slab acacia wood table in order to give the coworkers the necessary comfort and the touch of class and style to the room.

Don’t forget the meeting rooms

Each coworking space needs one or more rooms to be used for business meetings both for companies that could rent it for a day or a week of interviews and business meetings and for those who already work in the coworking space and want to invite their customers or partners for business talks.

A good Conference Table made of live edge wood is what it takes to make everyone feel at ease in a new environment. The table should be large enough to allow coworkers to lay down their laptop and other accessories comfortably.

Sometimes the meeting and conference tables also have central holes in order to allow the orderly wiring of projectors, laptops and other electronic devices.
