We use Thai Acacia Wood because it is relatively affordable, simple to work with, long-lasting, and sustainable. These are just some of the reasons why.

Acacia, Monkey Pod, Albizia saman, and Macassar are the types of woods that we choose to work with overall. Acacia, specifically the Thai Acacia, has a texture that is naturally quite fine (also considered a smooth finish). In comparison to other types of hardwood, it has an exceptionally high resistance to scratching.

The grain can take on a variety of different patterns, including straight and wavy lines, and the color can range from a light amber to a dark mahogany. Acacia slabs are completely unique to one another.

The Thai acacia in grows abundantly in this region of the country’s north, as it does in India, the Philippines, and Malaysia as well.

After being dried in a kiln, Thai acacia becomes significantly more durable while remaining simple to manipulate.

Because of this, we are able to manufacture dining benches, buffets, dining tables, coffee tables, and side tables without lowering the standard of the furniture that we produce in any way.

Because Thai acacia can be worked before it is dried, we are also able to craft beautiful pieces with live edges, such as the table below, which is made of live edge acacia wood.

This dining table made of wood features a mix of industrial and rustic design elements, making it a unique piece that would look great in your kitchen or dining room.

Solid acacia wood, a tropical hardwood that is well-known for its sturdiness and rich grain patterns, was used in the construction of this dining table.

The lively shape and edges of the tabletop have been processed on purpose, so that the authentic personality and natural look of tree can be brought into your interior decor!

Whether it’s polishing, painting, or lacquering, each stage of the process is carried out with the utmost attention to detail.

The industrial look is finished off perfectly by the steel legs, which also contribute to the structure’s robustness. The dinner table can be put together with little effort. Note that each of the dining tables is one of a kind due to the fact that the colors and edges are different from piece to piece.

A durable and sustainable wood

Acacia is a wood that has been shown to be exceptionally resistant to decay. Because of its high density and level of hardness, it is an excellent choice as a material for high-traffic pieces like dining tables and dining benches.

These pieces are built to last for decades if they are cared for properly.

Even though Thai acacia trees are not hard to come by, we still go to great lengths to ensure that the wood we purchase is obtained in a manner that is not harmful to the environment.

After the trees have finished producing the sap that is used for gum Arabic, we collaborate with the local farmers to harvest the trees for their lumber. In a typical scenario, the lumber would either be burned or fed into a wood chipper in preparation for the subsequent planting.

By developing working relationships with these farms, we are able to provide them with additional income in exchange for the provision of a source of wood that is completely sustainable.
